This photocopiable pack is designed to help A-Level students studying Jean de Florette. It offers analysis of the text and assesses the novel's role within the wider context of Provence as a topic. It is applicable both to specific A-Level literary studies on Pagnol as well as to the more general AEB topic 'Une région vue par les écrivains'.
